Gifts to the Diversity & Inclusiveness Initiatives Fund are directed to the School of Medicine Office of Multicultural Affairs and will be used to support individuals traditionally underrepresented in medicine and medical education including: persons of color, members of the LGBTQIA community, members of diverse ethnic groups including those typically underrepresented in medicine, members of economically disadvantaged groups, and any others who bring a different perspective to the learning environment.
The initiatives supported by this fund may include academic support, faculty support, programs related to social justice and health disparities, and Epipeline programs spanning the entire educational spectrum for medicine, including high school, undergraduate, medical school, residency, and fellowship.
