You can make your class gift by clicking here, through your reunion event registration, by submitting a gift/pledge card in the mail, or by contacting your reunion class officer.*

One-Time Gift or Multi-Year Pledge?

  • A one-time gift celebrates your reunion year and honors your class legacy.
  • A multi-year pledge (or installment gift) will be recognized and counted in full, increasing your reunion class gift contribution and your impact. Pledge payments can be made monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, or annually. Reunion pledges are a common way to increase the impact of your gift during your reunion year.

For example, if you pledge $10,000 to be paid at the $2,500 1834 Society annual giving level over four years (or $208.33 per month), the full $10,000 will count toward this year’s reunion class gift.

Hear from fellow alumni on the impact of reunion giving:

1834 Society

1834 Society

The 1834 Society, named after the year the medical school was established, recognizes the generosity of alumni and friends who donate $2,500 or more to the School of Medicine annually.

As an 1834 Society member, you join an elite group of supporters who make an immediate impact on the medical school. These gifts allow the school to award scholarships, provide funding for groundbreaking research and provide flexibility to meet the changing needs of the school.

Current 1834 Society members will be acknowledged at reunion weekend and invited to a special 1834 Society / Legacy VIP Reception at reunion weekend, where they will receive a token of appreciation. Benefits also include invitations to 1834 Society and Tulane Associates events throughout the year, such as a VIP Football tailgate and a Jazz Fest Brunch.

For those celebrating their 10th reunion, a special 1834 Society young alumni membership is granted for reunion weekend with an annual gift of $250 or more.

Tulane Legacy Society

The purpose of the Tulane Legacy Society is to recognize those who have made a planned gift to Tulane University, as well as to inspire others to consider such gifts and to provide members with information on estate and financial planning.

Gifts made through a bequest intention, a charitable remainder trust or gift annuity, retirement plans or life insurance qualify you for membership and can count toward your reunion class gift.

Tulane Legacy Society members will be acknowledged at reunion weekend and invited to a special 1834 Society / Legacy VIP Reception at reunion weekend, where they will receive a token of appreciation. The club roster is also printed annually in the Tulanian and, on occasion, in other university publications.

Tulane is most appreciative of its planned giving donors' commitment to a bright future for the university and of the encouragement provided by their example to support the university through a planned gift.
