  • Summer 2024: Save the date & book discounted accommodations at the Westin Hotel
  • November 2024: Registration for reunion events is now open. Register here by March 23.
  • Tuesday, March 4, 2025: Deadline to book discounted rate at the Westin Hotel (or until rooms last)
  • Sunday, March 23, 2025: Deadline to register for your reunion (pre-registration is required for all events). Deadline to make a gift and be included on your class donor board displayed at the reunion.
  • Friday, April 4 – Saturday, April 5, 2025: Reunion weekend!
  • Monday, June 30, 2025: Deadline to make a gift in honor of your reunion that will count toward your class gift and be included in your class donor honor roll for the final reunion report


FAQ

Who is invited to School of Medicine reunions?

In April 2025, we will celebrate our 10th through 45th reunions. This year, these include alumni from the classes of 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015. 

All alumni and their guests must register for reunion events by the deadline of Sunday, March 23, 2025. Events are adults only. Register here.

Help! I haven’t received any emails or letters about my reunion.

While we do our best to keep the contact information of our alumni up-to-date, we may have old or inaccurate information for you.

Is there a host hotel/group rate for reunion weekend?

Yes!

You can book accommodations at a discounted group rate for the Westin Hotel Canal Place here. The discounted rate is available while rooms in the block last or until the deadline of March 4, 2025.

We have a limited number of rooms reserved per night. If rooms are not available for your requested dates, try shortening your length of stay.

If you need to reserve a room on a night that is showing as unavailable or have any questions, please call the hotel directly at 504-566-7006 and mention you are trying to book the “Tulane Medical Alumni Association” rate.

We encourage you to book early to ensure you receive the group rate, as we usually sell out each year.

Where can I get more info to help with planning my trip to New Orleans (restaurants, activities, local transportation)?

We also encourage you to reach out to your classmates to coordinate activities outside of the official reunion events while you’re in town.

I can’t register online. How can I register?

Can I modify or add a guest to my registration?

Need to add a guest or event to your registration after submitting? No problem! As long as it’s before the registration deadline (March 23, 2025), you can add an event or guest to your registration by opening the email receipt you received after you registered. In the email, you will see: “Click here to edit your registration information.” Click that link to add an event to your registration or to add a guest to any event as part of your registration.

What should I wear to reunion events?

Check out the reunion schedule to see the recommended attire for each event.

When/where do I pick-up my nametag for reunion weekend?

You will receive your official nametag at the Westin Hotel’s Riverbend Ballroom during the Welcome Reception on Friday, April 4 between 5:30 – 7:00 PM. This will be your nametag for the entire weekend, so please remember to bring it with you to the events on Saturday.

I heard about my class gift. How can I contribute?

Thank you for considering a gift. Reunion class gifts are wonderful ways to continue the legacy of your class, and support Tulane School of Medicine’s current students while also increasing the value of your Tulane degree.

Gifts given to any fund within the School of Medicine by June 30, 2025, will count toward your reunion class gift and be acknowledged in the post-reunion report.

Gifts given by March 23, 2025, will also be acknowledged on the donor boards displayed at reunion weekend.

Many choose to give at the 1834 Society level (an annual gift of $2,500 or more) to honor their milestone reunion. Current 1834 Society members will be acknowledged at reunion weekend and invited to a special reception at reunion weekend, where they will receive a token of appreciation.

For those celebrating their 10th reunion, a special 1834 Society young alumni membership is granted for reunion weekend with an annual gift of $250 or more.

Reunion pledges are a common way to increase the impact of your gift during your reunion year. For example, if you pledge $10,000 to the School of Medicine, to be paid at $2,500 per year over 4 years, the full $10,000 will count toward your reunion class gift, and you will remain an 1834 Society membership for the next 4 years.
